.Summer.

While Summer is a time for our annual brain break and laying on the beach enjoying nothingness; it's also a time to get aheadin our classes next year.

Yes, I understand, you just found out you passed you're geometry regents/your finals, you should be celebrating, not studying. Ew. But here's the thing...by September your brain will be as empty as a nut shell. You'll start the year bad, and end even worst.

For ya'll taking AP classes or Honors, you need to step that ass up. You know you have stuff to do.

And here's How:

--------

Ways To Start Summer Learning

1) YouTube:

Look up the class you're going to take next year, and learn the basic of the topics. As a result you'll already have an idea of what the course will be like.

2) Quizlet

Ya'll should know, I love quizlet! It has everything. Literally. You get to test yourself (honestly), and learn with match games, and flashcards. Plus you get to have fun and compete with your friends or even a hottie.

3) Khan Academy

It forreal has teachers to help you understand at your own speed with videos, images, and drawings. Its the bomb. The MVP

4) Get Schooled

It's not an app, but a website that motivate you when you would rather watch PLL, or the new Hunger Games Movie. You can put in your homescreen, and it's be there to help you choose Quizlet over Netflix.

------

Now get your ass off that couch you've been at all day, and take out a book. I know you have summer readings to do.

Finals Week

Finals are here! Regents and just straight up stress everywhere.

How the hell are we suppose to do our homeworks, study for our upcoming exams, while taking practice exams and still learning new stuff?

These last few months are going to be hectic. I'm not going to lie, you're going to want to pull your eyes out, skips all your classes, and go to chipotle. But I will help you get through these tough times because, I'm going through them too. Unfortunately.

First, you will definitely need a planner, or just a to-do list. Whether you print one out or buy one. You're gonna need one. Make sure it's something that will keep your organize. It's not just straight up, boring, and something you'll probably never look at.

(This is my To-Do list that I print out)

Believeve it or not...writing it down actually helps. You see your goals, it becomes more clear and real, not just a 3-second thought before you click in the next episode on Netflix.

Priorities. Priorities. Priorities.

Netflix will not grown legs and run away, but your good grades will and you will not be able to run away from the fail coming your way. Get your shit together.

That essay? It's not gonna do itself! The extra help you know you need? It isn't gonna magically come to you. Get your shit together.

Second

Take five minutes a day to answer practice questions only. Or go on quizlet (The best school app in the world TBH). It has its own flash card, test, and games for whatever topic you are doing! All you need to do is get the app, or go online.

Go over all your note at the end of the week. You and I both know you were snoozing off 15% of the time during class.

Separate the new topics from the old ones, and look over them independently. Competé, is now compìtio in the new notes. Don't confuse them by studying it all together.

Have time for yourself, you're own little free time, where you can do whatever you want at least once a week. Or else, you will go crazy. ' but no more then two days a week, 'cause this is crunch time. No time to waste.

Go go over the old essays you wrote. See hope far you've improved. Don't forget to ask any questions. Comment. Actually go study right now. Get off this blog! Go get stuffy done!

This Generation

Our Questioning Spirits

Unlike other generations, we have a more questioning spirit. We want to know why things are the what they are, and how come they've been that way for so long?

The thing is, we have opportunities to obtain informations instead of remaining oblivious. We're the generation where answeres are at our fingertips....Literally!

As a fellow high schooler I know some of us would rather go in Instagram instead of getting answeres.....because the topic is 'too sensitive'. Sensitive or not...you shouldn't remain ignorant. People are saying that this generation is the 'most incompetent' or 'worst behaved'.....that's because we're opening the world to suggestions that were never thought of before or was considered false. Everyone once believed the world revolved around the earth......until a man finally decided to gather information in what's really going on.

Which is what you should be doing if you question anything....even the tiniest little detail. It could change the world.....you can change the world!

You have a question about religions....read their main sources. Question about our government.... Ask the right questions, and might find the right answers.

Read. Research. Don't get brainwash by social media, and believe whatever they tell you. I wish I could just get out of the screen and show you how messed up the world really is. Please.

(If you want a list of ways to obtain the information you need, message me or comment...and I'll right another article)

Jealousy: How To Get Over It And Be Happy

When you work your hardest and the boy who didn't finish two essays wins best student of the class.

We've all experienced jealous, and it's a difficulty and confusing predicament. Especially when it's jealousy of the success of someone you love and care about. Not only are you feeling this way, but you feel guilty for it as well. Jealous of boyfriends are even worst. And this how we're going to get through this together.

Jealous of a friends accomplishment

We've all had that moment when a friend wins something that you wanted, or gets into something that you weren't excepted into.

The first thing you need to do, is understand that it's okay to feel this way. It's human nature to fuel up jealousy and lust. It's Okay. Everyone had felt this way more than twice in their life.

[2] Understand that you did your best. You did the best you possibly could, and that's something you should be proud of. Don't be all negative and think 'I did my best, but he/she still wins'. Be proud of the fact that you worked toward something you wanted, you didn't just sit there and procrastinate. You're doing something with your life, you're now one step closer to self understatement than that person ever will be.

[1] List the things that you love about that person. List the things that they've done for you. Then, and only then will you feel truly happy for them, and enjoy their accomplishment without feeling disappointed in yourself.

Jealousy with boyfriend/ girlfriend

[1] Ask yourself why the heck are you jealousy. Are you jealous because you really love the person and don't want to lose them, or is it because you don't trust that jerk, and you know he's doing something?

[2] Don't try to hide your feelings of why you feel the way the do. When you realize what makes you feel this way. I don't know much about relationships so I can't really tell you what to do. Just be honest with yourself and figure your shit out!

[3] Plus, it's your boyfriend. You have whah that person doesn't. Chill.

Jealousy of a random stranger

We've all felt this way. Everyone. Don't lie. When that girl is rocking that dress that you want. And those heels. The wavy hair. Damn!

[1] What you need to do is understand that you too have great qualities. List the things that you like about yourself in your head. Think about it, everyone feels insecure. It's not just you who has flaws, that person that you feel jealous of.....has flaws too.

[2] Don't be jealous, because that person could be dealing with worst things than you are. They're life could be a living hell, that wavy hair don't mean shit.

Overall

listen to me. Yo boo. Listen to me. You need to know and understand your falls. That's the only way that that you can excerpt yourself, and want something else that someone has. That person will never have the hard work, and diligence that you put in everything you do.

You don't know that persons live, you don't know the shit they go through. Don't want/ be envious of something/ someone you know nothing about. Chill. Just chill. Eat some ice cream and chill.

The Page

In the Beginning There Was Light

When you've written a full blog already but forgot to save it...and not have to start all over again. Sigh

First entries of blogs are difficult. What am I going to write? Who do I want to teach out to? But, I'm going to be real with you. This blog is more about you, than it is about me. I'm writing The Page for my fellow high schoolers. I'm not some fabricating attention seeking girl trying to gain popularity, I'm just like you. I face the same things you do. No matter who you are, we are all human. We all need someone to tell us everything's okay.

The Community

The Page will include sincere advices for things that I have experience on. In The Page, we are al just one community, trying to help eachother. Be comfortable, because no one is alwayed to judge here.

The People

In The Page, everyone is welcome. This is for the people, by the people. That's why request will always be taken, and viewed. All your voices matter: comments what you would like to be written, comment the things you like or dislike, and share.
